At ESME, you can choose from a diverse range of courses according to your academic and professional aspirations. You can select courses from various undergraduate and graduate programs offered in English taught by native speakers. As an international student, you will participate in the same courses as the local students, fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. The curriculum at ESME emphasizes a multi-disciplinary approach, combining science and engineering coursework with practical laboratory work, projects, and management skills.
As a Gap Year student, you can only select undergraduate-level courses. All others can choose undergraduate and graduate level courses regardless of whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student. Moreover, you can cross-select courses from all degrees.

In addition to the courses mentioned above, you can attend additional distance learning courses in the fields of Economics, Marketing, Sociology, and Politics. All the courses are taught from a distance and can be joined independently from place and time. This gives you the ultimate flexibility to combine your study abroad experience with various academic courses.

You can opt for distance learning courses during your application process. Please note that each distance learning course is worth 5 ECTS and comes at an additional charge of 149€ / 167 USD.
After completing your eCampus courses, you will receive an academic transcript issued by Undiknas University. Additionally, you will receive a participation certificate for each completed distance learning course.

Fill out and submit the online application form together with the required documents.
CONFIRMATION
You’ll get a confirmation of your study placement within one week, at best, as quickly as in one day.
Finally, you’ll get a confirmation of your study placement in 1-7 days, starting when your application is complete with all the required documents.
The application fee invoice will be sent to you soon after the initial acceptance letter. This fee will be due within 10 days of receiving your confirmation. The application fee is non-refundable even if you decide to cancel (see below).
If you’re unable to participate in the study abroad semester, you have the right to cancel your participation up to 1 month before the semester starts at no extra cost (the application fee will not be refunded, however). Let us know about your cancellation by emailing us at info[at]asiaexchange. org. Cancellations notified via phone, SMS, or other means will not be considered. LANGUAGE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES AT ESME

Q: Are there mandatory courses?
A: No, there are no mandatory courses at ESME Paris.
Q: When are my course selections confirmed?
A: After your application has been officially approved by the host University, the staff of ESME Paris will reach out to you to request your course selection. They will then pre-confirm your course selection or inform you if certain courses are unavailable.
Q: Can I drop out of a course or add a course after making the course selections?
A: In some cases, it is possible to drop out of some courses or add more. However, these kinds of decisions have to be made in the first week of the semester.
Q: How does the weekly schedule look like?
A: In general, you will have contact lectures from Monday to Friday.
Q: What is the required minimum attendance?
A: You must attend a minimum of 75 % of lectures and all mandatory workshops/excursions. You must also pass the mid-term and final exams to receive your grades. In case of sickness, you can discuss with the program staff regarding the excused absence.
Q: When do the exams take place?
A: All exams will take place after the official semester dates at the end of your semester. The examination period is usually about 2 weeks long.
Q: Is there a dress code at ESME Paris?
A: You should always cover your shoulders, belly, knees and toes when on campus.
A: European students do not need any visa to study in Paris, France, at ESME. If you are a non-European citizen, you need to apply for the Schengen Visa. The long-stay visa is equivalent to a Schengen visa but is valid for more than 90 days.
A: The university does not offer on-campus accommodation. However, there are plenty of accommodation options available in Paris, France. Furthermore, the ESME collaborates with a variety of services that specialize in finding and directing you to reliable, convenient, and available student houses or apartments. You can look for accommodations within the city or near the campuses.
Q: Should I book accommodation in advance or after arriving in Paris, France?
A: It is completely up to you. Many of the cheapest places get booked in advance during the autumn, but most students still prefer checking the accommodation options in person after arrival.
A: Paris offers a fantastic public transportation system which is used by the majority of our students. The Metro is the most convenient, and the system is excellent.
A: We recommend MMR, Tetanus-diphtheria and hepatitis A and B. You can ask your doctor for possible other recommendations.
Q: Do I need to have travel insurance?
A: You are required to have valid accident and health insurance from your home country for the whole duration of the program. The university may request a copy of the insurance certificate at the beginning of the semester. See our recommended travel insurance providers.
A: Besides tuition fees, you should be prepared to pay for the student visa, flights, accommodation, and other living costs. The cost of living is higher in Paris as it is France’s capital city. You can expect to spend around €1,150 – €1,720 per month, However, the actual costs depend on your individual lifestyle.
A: An official transcript or records of all your semesters or, if you are not currently enrolled at an institution of higher education, a copy of your high school diploma (or similar document). A scanned copy of the identification page of the passport. A letter of recommendation from a staff member at your home institution (e.g., a teacher, a professor, or an assistant). Your home university must affirm clearly that you have sufficient English skills and can communicate fluently in English.
Q: I need to have my learning agreement/certificate of enrollment signed. What should I do?
A: Please fill out the document and send it to info@asiaexchange.org and we will forward it to your host university for signing.
Q: When will I receive my Official Acceptance Letter?
A: The electronic official letter of acceptance will be delivered to you approximately 1 months before the semester starts in at ESME in Paris, France.
Q: When will I receive my Transcript of Records?
A: The university prepares and sends the transcripts of records usually within 2 months after the end of the semester.
