TRAVEL THE WORLD: IN JUST ONE SEMESTER, LEARN ABOUT BUSINESS AND CULTURE IN LATIN AMERICA AND BALI.
Around the World is a one-of-a-kind study abroad program that reimagines international student mobility. The program enables students to examine and address issues such as political polarization, as well as to prevent mutual misunderstanding. Instead of the typical study abroad semester, students will have the opportunity to enjoy the most extraordinary experience conceivable. During their semester abroad, our students will visit two of the greatest private universities in Latin America and Southeast Asia for seven weeks each.
Established in 2007, Asia Exchange and Beyond Overseas has sent over 10.000 students abroad, and we are happy that our Facebook community rated our services 4.8/5.
Furthermore, Asia Exchange and Beyond Abroad have garnered numerous accolades and recognitions around the world,

Being able to study abroad gives me so much! I became independent and I was able to learn so much about this wonderful Costa Rican culture but above all to see and visit this country which has such beautiful and diverse landscapes!
Ali & Ilona
Students, Germany
When we first planned our semester abroad, we were accepted to an university in Canada. But then we came across Asia Exchange and were amazed by the opportunity to study in Bali. Looking back, we could not be more grateful for letting the chance go of studying in Canada and going to Bali instead.

Don’t be scared and just do it! We are not regretting it at all. We are having the time of our life even though it is COVID-19. So, do it, you won’t regret it!
Around the World - Destinations
Study abroad in Bali, Indonesia
Indonesia’s most popular island, Bali, is so much more than sun, sea, and surf. Often called Silicon Bali, the island has developed into one of Southeast Asia’s most concentrated business and innovation hubs.
Indonesia is the World’s fourth most populous nation and the 10th largest economy globally. The country demonstrated its inherent strength during the global economic crisis back in 2014. Its economy grew by over 5% in 2014, which is better than many other emerging powers in the G20. Nowadays, Indonesia has become an attractive market for investors due to the growing middle class, political and economic openness, and business relations with the large, emerging markets of the Middle East.
The TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards have awarded Bali the most popular destination in 2021. Every year, the island welcomes over six million foreigners. The island of gods is the best tourist destination worldwide, a surf mecca, a place many students never want to leave.

CO2 OFFSETTING
Traveling by plane to study abroad increases the carbon footprint of each student. Over the past years, it has become more apparent than ever: we face a climate crisis, and air transport is responsible for up to 10% of humankind’s contribution to global warming. But should students stop pursuing their dreams of studying abroad and sacrifice their future goals? We don’t think so!
We see it as our responsibility to preserve our environment, live a sustainable life, and minimize our students’ carbon footprint. Consequently, Asia Exchange has chosen to work with Atmosfair, a non-profit organization that actively contributes to CO₂ mitigation and offers Co2 offsetting. You can now easily donate a free amount of money to Atmosfair’s projects dedicated to offsetting Co2 emissions. During the application process for your study abroad program, you can donate and mitigate your flight emissions.
Simultaneously, Asia Exchange will support your efforts to reduce their carbon footprint when studying abroad by doubling your donations and contributing equally. Let’s make this world a better place!
